Project Treatt is a new build distribution centre in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk.
The brief given to Regency Power was to design a 500kVA power solution to provide 24 hours back up to the building. The brief also stated that Regency Power should design and include a soft transfer “no break” return to mains synchronising of the generator set. This will enable the owner to sync with the mains and transfer the load to the generator set, obviating any need for load bank testing in the future.
The Project Treatt is a Baudouin powered 500kVA prime power diesel engine coupled to a Stamford alternator.
